Chanting the Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra will aid in the spiritual opening of your third eye chakra, raise your level of consciousness, and increase your capacity for spiritual understanding. Chant with the sincere desire for freedom from the bonds of the material world, with purity and devotion and you shall have it.

When you have finished chanting, sit for a few minutes in the profound stillness and silence of the Himalayas, which lies within your own self, becoming aware of the protective psychic energy field which you have created around yourself with the chanting of the Maha mrityunjaya Mantra.

Know that you will carry that protection with you wherever you go until you chant again. Think of anyone whom you would like to include within this field, someone sick or in need of help. Project the energy out to them.

May the Maha mrityunjaya Mantra uplift your life and help you and all living beings overcome all the difficulties.
