ARE YOU FALLING OR ARE YOU RISING IN LOVE?

Maybe you think that being in Love is not in your hands. You have fallen into it. It was not in your power not to fall, so when it comes, it takes you with it. But it is like a breeze, it comes and goes. And thanks God that it comes and goes!  Because if it stays it becomes stale.

Why instead of fall in love you try to rise in love?. Falling in love is something biological and biology is blind, that’s why love is called blind. Rising in love is beautiful and is a learning process. It is something spiritual and  getting  out of it is very easy, because that will be falling down!

Love can be anywhere that we bring it; and the more we bring it, the more we get. (And the opposite is also true: the more we set limits on love, the more it limits us.)

Love does not reside with one special person! We are programed to believe otherwise and this makes us  so afraid!. But when we recognize that love lives within us, then our fears about losing love will start to shift.

When we rise in love it comes  out of our silence, awareness, meditativeness. It is soft; it is unbinding — because how can love create fetters for the one who is loved? It is giving freedom to each other, more and more. As the love grows deeper, freedom becomes bigger. As the love grows deeper, you start accepting the person as he or she is. You stop trying to change the person.
Love is kind, generous, understanding and compassionate to everyone you meet. Love exists when you smile at strangers, when you chat with people you meet, when you gaze up at the beautiful nature. Love is recognizing that there is an ever-abundant source of it inside of you ready to be shared with the world, so the more you share love, the more you receive it and feel it.

Giving love away helps you learn that you can never ultimately be separated from love. And it's by knowing this that your fears about losing love will start to dissipate, and your urge to limit and control the love in your life will slowly fade away.
If you rise in Love it does not end in friendship but begins in friendship. It begins in silence, in awareness. Such a love can last forever, can go on growing deeper and deeper. Such a love is immensely sensitive.
In this kind of relationship one starts feeling the need of the other person even before the other person has spoken. Energies can relate directly without language. Such a love needs nothing from the other. It is grateful that the other receives something when he or she offers. It never feels in any kind of bondage, because there is none.

In such love, intimate connection is no longer sexual and physical of the lowest kind, but only a way of bringing two souls together, going as deeply as possible into each other, a way to reach the depths of the other. Two energies melting. Orgasm which is not physical is from a different dimenssion,it is magical and leads finally to self-realization. And if love cannot give you enlightenment, don’t call it love. Love is such a beautiful word. When you say, “Falling in love,” you are using the word in an ugly way. Say “falling in sex”; be true. In LOVE one always rises, never falls.
Love is limitless and resides within us. We have not to afraid of losing it. Love is always here.

May you always follow your inner divinity, your life purpose, your soul's journey. May you always Rise in Love!. Allow the Love radiates from within. Be the miracle that you were born to live & share the LOVE that you are in all you do, think, say & feel.

Kirtan: The Yoga Of Sacred Song And Mantra Chanting

Kirtan is a very different kind of music.  Based on ancient Mantra chants, it has the ability to quiet the mind if listened to with intention. It is also known as devotional Yoga (Bakti Yoga).
A mantra, is a word or phrase that has special meaning, such as peace, shalom  or shanti. It may be the name of a spiritual being, such as Jesus Christ, Hare Krishna, Mohamed, or Buddha.  In the east, Om or Aum is a favourite sound as it means the sound of the creation of the universe: a mantra can be a positive affirmation as ‘I am Love and kindness.’ Just repeat this and become loving kindness! Then share that loving kindness with all others!
Mantra meditation and Kirtan chanting is like spiritual food; it awakens your creative process and nourishes your spirit, while habitual or agitated thinking patterns are released. In the process you discover the silence behind the sound and your heart opens.

Everyone experiences kirtan differently, and it doesn’t have to be a religious experience for everyone. Because kirtan has roots in India, many of the songs are sung in Sanskrit.  Sanskit mantras have the powerful  vibrations of  an ancient, holy language that have been repeated for hundreds of years by sages, saints and many generations of people.  You can be completely immersed in the sound, with no words to distract the mind, the magic of the chants can then carry you within

You can think of it as a sing-along. Chanting sacred sounds or names, as done in many religious practices, worshipping the sacred but also creating  harmony by unifying voices into a synchronized whole. This is particularly effective if the sound does not require thought, as it is the sound that is important and not the meaning. Such repetition has also been put to music that reaches across religious boundaries. The performers are accessible, in fact there’s not much of a distinction between performers & audience.  The wallah (leader) sings the mantra, and the audience sings it back.  A single chant can go on for up to forty minutes.  As you sing with each other you experience a deep connection with the musicians, the other audience members and yourself.  And when the music stops, your mind is quiet and ready to enter into meditation.

Apart from calming the mind, kirtan chanting is powerfully healing. The frequency of the sound deeply affected us, it smoothed out the rough edges, and bring us back home to our natural state of Inner Peace.

With my best wishes of Inner Peace,

Om Shanti
